Conditioner style only--winter

Just checking in to see how the winter and low dews are going for everyone and condition only styling?

What conditioner are you all using now for low dews?

Are you doing anything besides conditioning? (adding a LI under the condish you style with, sealing, anything)

I feel like if I try to add stuff to my regime my hair just goes out of wack. I feel like my hair likes minimal product but moisturizing ones.

Im still trying to find the PERFECT condish thats moisturizing enough. I just feel like my hair could be softer.(but I feel like the perfect conditioner doesnt exist)

greencup - i see you use curl junkie products. have you tried curl rehab as a leave in conditioner? i love deep fix as a dt, but find curl rehab makes a great leave in.
for lower dew points i seal after i condition (and sometimes add styler, then i seal).

3a, some 2c & 3b, medium texture, porosity normal, low elasticity
washing/cowashing, conditioning, protein tx: curl junkie products
leave in:cj conditioners and treatments as leave in
styling: cj pattern pusha, cj honey butta leave in, cj cccc, cj ciab, lalsg. cj aloe fix gel is my high dews/summer HG!!
sealants - spiral solutions emollience butter, jane carter nourish & shine
i mix oil in the palm of my hands when im doing my condish thing. when its really dry, or cold, then i use a different oil on my ends and during the day i wear my hair in a bun. i change my bun every day so its not the same and diff. right now im using the rainforest moisture condish, from the body shop, i really like it, it gives me great hold and keeps the moisture locked in nicely. i even get second day hair when i do it after my shower at night.

my hair: 3c, high porosity, high density and coarse hair (i think i finally figured that all out)
my hair loves conditioner only styling!
my hair goal length is bra strap length when curly.

I also blog about my hair journey, please feel free to read and comment/ask questions http://www.naturallycurly.com/blogs/...air-blogs/2494

i believe the curl rehab is protein-free. it is the deep fix that has some proteins.

Curl Rehab doesn't have typical "proten", "hydrolyzed", or "amino acids" typically considered proteins, but it does have a lot of herbal extracts, which can act like proteins for someone who is sensitive to them.

2c /3a F /Mii, low porosity

Summer Products /Routine:
Clarifying: ACV rinses, Suave Professional Men Deep Clean Peppermint
Low Poo: Renpure Luxurious Argan Oil
Co-washes: VO5 Kiwi Lime Squeeze or Strawberries & Cream
RO: VO5 KLS or S&C, Cure Care
LI (if needed): VO5 S&C, VO5 SC, Cure Care
Stylers: FSG, AIF,
Tresemme Flawless Curls Bouncy Curls gel
PT: IAGirl's (link) as needed
I don't generally do conditioner only styling, but I'm wondering if the LOC method might work for this; Leave in (water based), Oil, and Cream. Would help seal and add extra layers of moisture, still without having to use gels or other traditional "styling" products. I'm thinking of doing this underneath my jelly stylers now that the dews have dropped so low (I already do the LI and seal with oil, but I think the cream will add the extra moisture I'm missing).
2c/3a, botticelli/wavy/'swavy (huh?)
fine, dense, normal porosity/elasticity, dry climate

My favorite brands are Kinky Curly, As I am, Curly Kinks, Curl Junkie, and Darcy's Botanicals. Also love sealing with oils (loving argan oil right now) and styling with jelly products (KCCC is my current favorite). Mostly trying to keep it simple!

Switched from kckt mixed with grapeseed oil to CJBCLI mixed with grapeseed oil. I also use low heat to set the product and avoid frozen hair ( low dews in the Midwest right now) until damp and not dripping. Turns out, a little heat packs a punch, cuz I have not needed a dc in weeks!
3B, Fine, Normal P, Normal E, Low-Med D
LowP: Kinky Curly Come Clean (50% EVOO)
NoP: As I Am CC
RO: Suave Coconut, VO5 Shea Cashmere
LI: KCKT or CJBCLI or HETT/HENOYF (w/ 8 drops GSO)
