What to buy on eBay? Can you trust it?
Does anyone buy hair products on eBay? I saw some sample kits by various companies that intrigue me, but I don't know how to be sure they're legitimate and not expired product or whatever. What do you buy? Are there certain sellers you trust? Thanks!

I've bought every kind of hair product (and hundreds of other items) on Ebay. I just make sure the seller has a good feedback rating and I also read some of the feedback comments.

I've had good and bad experiences on eBay. I got cheated by a seller with a 100% rating, so I'm wary now.
(Yes, I reported it, and no, eBay did not help.)

It really depends on the individual seller. Ebay, the company itself, has little influence, they just provide sellers and buyers with a platform.
Just be careful, make sure that the seller has good feedback. I've been shopping on ebay for over 6 years and I've only had good experiences so far.

I'd sooner trust a seller with a 98.5% rating and 1,000 transactions than someone with a 100 and fewer than ten transactions. It's a bit of a judgement call. I always check the negative and neutral detailed feedback to see what those say, because some buyers will give 5 star but leave negative detail, and others are ridiculous and rate low just to try to get a refund. If its an expensive purchase or I feel nervous, I google the heck out of them, as well.

I've always been happy with my eBay purchases...I'd like to buy a bigger ticker item...but for that I'm scared. They are selling iPads...and I'd love to buy one. Anyone with any experience with that type stuff?

Back on Cones,so now my routine is,wash with Deva No-Poo every other day or so. Occasionally use 365 sulfate free, maybe use low sulfate shampoo mixed with conditioner once every two weeks are longer. I condition with Aussie Moist or HEHH. I style with a little GF TN,and finish up with tons of GN Pure Clean Smoothing Cream. No frizz...slippy, happy hair.

I haven't bought hair products on ebay, but I've bought some of everything else, from jewelry, to electronics, to clothing and I've had great experiences. Like everyone else said read the feed back and also make sure that you read the complete listing page information and make sure you're aware of any fine print that may lead you to think you've been tricked if you miss it. Check to see if they give refunds if your product isn't in the condition it should be in and so on.

goddesscurls - I've bought laptops, 3-in-1 printers, cameras, and other electronic/tech items, new and used both, without issue.

Wow! Ok, thanks Jeep...I'll really have to look into that. Cause I could get an iPad way cheaper on there.
