Is KCCC worth a second try?
It worked for me for a while last year, but then it stopped and made my hair limp and frizzy...
However, at that point, I was using the entire Kinky-Curly line exclusively, so just KCCC, KCKT, and KC Come Clean. The Come Clean was pretty drying, and the Knot Today wasn't the most moisturizing. Also, my hair was super short.
Now, I'm cowashing again, my hair is about 4 or 5 inches longer. (Before, it was around my chin and now is past my shoulders.)
I'm using KCKT again, which is giving my hair so much slip even when dry and is clumping it nicely. Do you think Kinky-Curly Curling Custard would work if I tried it again...or would it still take forever to dry and dry out my hair? It's a lot of money, and I'd have to buy it because I gave my other jar away
Thank you!

I think it's well worth a try.
I personally found KCCC worked poorly in our hard water area; and KCKT was unimpressive. However, I love KCCC.

I think I bought and sold/traded KCCC 3x before I finally liked it enough to keep it. Part of it was it doesn't work too well for me in the really hot/humid months. Also, it was the first curl enhancer/styler I ever tried so it was definitely a fail the first time around!
But other products have stopped working for me and after I tried it again, they still failed.

I find KCCC is a good curl/jelly enhancer. But it does take FOREVER to dry. So I use it as my second layer-smaster method. But I find my hair looks better when I use it. I'd give it another try.

Thanks, everyone! I just bought some today (had a giftcard) and can already feel some curl enhancement...but I'll see what it's like when dry

I only use KCCC when I desire dry, tangled wash and gos by the end of the day.
It's also my "in case I knock over my staple gel into the toilet and have nothing to use until I can get more" gel >.>
