If you can't do aloe try their smooth line. It's my favorite but doesn't get much love on NC.

Right now at Ulta the matrix liter are buy two get one free plus they have 5 dollar of coupons. If you start watching for sales there you can get them for about 14-16 a liter. A better deal than the generic! (at least with the way it's priced at the sally's by me)

I've never used the actual "Matrix" version, but I love the GVP version (except the scent). These are the ingredients on the back of my bottle:

Water, Propylene Glycol, Myristyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Decyl Oleate, Phenoxyethanol, Methylparaben, Fragrance, Propylparaben, Hexyl Cinnamal, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Golden Seal Extract, Bladderwack Extract, Methyl-2-Octynoate

I think GVP continues to manufacture a lot of formulations that the original brand names discontinued. In most cases, Sally Beauty Holdings owns both the original brand and the GVP brand so they can continue to profit from the formulas when the salon brands update their product lines. (I don't think Paul Mitchell Super Clean Gel is still around, but GVP still makes it...)

I'm bumping this old thread to find out if Rymorg ever found out if the Biolage conditioning balm was reformulated because when I click on it on their website it list Shea butter and silk amino acids as part of the ingredients and I know those are in the ultra hydrating but not sure if they also added it to the regular conditioning balm? Thanks!
