Start sulfate free shampoo, got a few questions
Hi girls,
I bought KC Come Clean shampoo recently and as it contains no sulfates, I wonder if I need another shampoo prior to get out any sillicones that are currently in my hair? I am asking this because the only product I have been using lately is Kerastase Oleo-curl shampoo and Mop Top (sillicone free) conditioner. The Oleo-curl shampoo does contain sillicones and sulfates, so I wonder are there currently any sillicones in my hair from the shampoo or do you rinse them out with that same shampoo as it contains sulfates? Little confused, but in short: does a shampoo with sillicones and sulfates leave any sulfates in the hair? |
@MVP: No, the sulphates will wash out of your hair. What type of silicones are in the shampoo? Could you list them, please? :) Water soluble cones won't rinse out right away, but they'll evaporate once your hair dries. Non-water soluble cones, as you know, remain on the hair shaft even after the hair has been rinsed, & they don't evaporate from the hair once it has dried. Hth :)
