Styling product suggestions for thinnish hair
 
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had recommendations for styling products suitable for thinnish hair? I am after definition, hold and softness (no hard or crunchy hair or products that will weigh down my curls). My hair is 2b/2c.

The best way to choose products/ingredients is by hair properties. Here's a link to help you with yours Live Curly Live Free - Types of Curls Once you determine your properties, you can look for folks with hair like yours and see what they use (in signatures.) It's the best place to start.

Thanks for the tip. I think my hair is medium width, low density (currently on treatment for thinning hair) and low to medium porosity. Any ideas?

My hair prefers the more natural products from the online, boutique type companies. I stay away from chemicals (my hair just doesn't like them.) I think that a lot of products that I use would work for you. I use minute amounts of really rich products followed by a jelly (gelatinous consistency, no chemicals.) When hair is totally dry, you can scrunch it to eliminate the "crunch" or producty look.
