KCKT or BeutiCurls?

I have very dry, wavy and protein sensitive hair. I want a leave-in that is moisturizing to stop breakage. Should I buy Kinky Curly Knot Today, or Curl Junkie BeautiCurls leave in?

Sorry, accidentally spelt "BeautiCurls" wrong :(

KCKT is a detangler that some use as a leave in. Personally, I didn't find it moisturizing enough (many don't.)

i did not find kckt moisturizing, it was also drying for my hair, too.

i love cj beauticurls leave in, it's great, easy to use, and also good for layering other products if you want.

I agree that kckt isn't the most moisturizing. But I just want to prepare you, the scent of beauticurls is very strong and lingering. I bought it recently and like the way it performs but cant stand the smell. But if scents don't bother you it's a good product.

Remember it's totally ok to use your rinse out as a leave in, especially if your hair is extra thirsty. I often use my conditioning balm as a leave in. Really any good conditioner can be turned in to a leave in, I've found!

I was eyeing the Beauticurls Leave-In but decided against it because it had so many negative comments on the smell. Smells can be deal breakers for me. I had to stop dating a guy once because of his scent. It wasn't even a "bad" scent like body odor, but for some reason I just could not stand his particular smell.

I opted for the Curl Assurance Smoothing Conditioner instead and have been using that as a RO and LI. Even that is not as moisturizing as I'd like though but it smells good to me.

i just want to add that i am sensitive to smells, but i do not find this offensive in the least, kind of a 'neutral' smell. smells are different to everyone.
and i agree that you can use any ro as a leave in.
the beauticurls works particularly well as it is very moisturizing without being the least bit heavy or greasy, and it works so well with other products if you choose to add a styler. in fact, i've often used it as my styler.

I prefer the CJ beauticurls over the KCKT. I also really like As I Am leave in, which is protein free and available at Sally's. you can also use any RO as a leave in - if it's too heavy, you could dilute it with water.

Thanks everyone, I will buy the beauticurls. Luckily strong fragrances don't bother me :D

I wanted to add I think my hair absorbs the Beauticurls more but I suspect it makes me itchy! I liked KCKT as well.

KCKT was an immediate FAIL the very first time I used it. To the point where I immediately gave up on it after the very first use and have never considered revisiting this product.

My HG staple leave-in is actually the CJ BeautiCurls Argan & Olive Oil Daily Conditioner. This stuff leaves my hair so moisturized! I love it and you don't need to use a lot so the bottle lasts a long time. The scent doesn't bother me and I feel like it doesn't linger..... but then I've been using this as my LI for a few years now so I might just be used to the smell and just don't think twice about it.

Protein?

Would BeautiCurls be okay for protein sensitive hair, because it has nettle and horsetail extract?
