Horribly dry climate (cross post)

Help? I need product recommendations!

I have fine(ish), fairly thick, 2c/3a hair that has been tortured to within an inch of its life. In the past five years I've straightened, blow-dried, curled, used henna, box dye, and worked outside in blazing sun and 100+ degree temperatures. I also used more silicones and sulfates than any curly girl should ever think about. I didn't even know my hair was curly: I thought it was just dry, puffy, and completely out of control.

CG has been GREAT for me, and my hair's healthier than it's ever been (yay!) But I really need some new products, and I was hoping all you wonderful people could help me find them

I really, really need some moisturizing products that I can use. DT, PT, leave-ins, and stylers all need to be ordered, so any suggestions you have would be great. I live in southwest NM where it is insanely dry (dew point is currently 3, which should tell you a lot) so humectants, glycerin, and alcohol are all really bad ideas. That's also why I can't just search the product reviews: they keep giving me things like KCKT, which I already know will wreck my hair in this super dry weather.

My hair loves: AOHSR, anything extra moisturizing, and anything with protein. Homemade coconut oil DTs and avocado/egg PTs have also turned out great.

My hair hates: KCKT, anything Deva ever produced, and every gel I've ever tried. ACV rinses haven't been a big success, either.

*Phew* Do you think I've talked enough? Any and all suggestions would be fantastic! I'd especially love to hear about any moisturizing creams or butters I could use every day . . . my hair needs the protection.

Curl junkie has some wonderfully moisturizing products, and I highly recommend curl rehab deep conditioner. I also swear by the generic value products conditioning balm from Sally's. Both are highly moisturizing and free of glycerin and protein.
My hair: 3b, corkicelli, medium porosity, medium texture, medium/thick density

Co-wash: DevaCurl NoPoo
Rinse-out: GVP Conditioning Balm
Leave-in: KCKT, Suave Naturals Coconut, or my rinse-out!
Gel: SS FHG (my new HG!!)... I also like HESMU, AIF, CJ CQ, BRHG, CJ PP and the occasional LALSG

Likes: Plopping!
Dislikes: Glycerin

CG and loving it!
Thanks, jaclyn! I'm looking at Curl Junkie right now. The Coffee-Coco Curl Cream looks tempting . . . and so does the Rehab, which I probably need.
I love the CJ CCCC-Lite and Beauticurls LI and use it for all kinds of things; curl activator, sealer, SOTC, 2nd Day and pre-co (BC-LI) when my hair is very tangled. My hair is a mix from 2b-3a

The best way to choose ingredients/products is by hair properties. Here's a link to help Live Curly Live Free - Curly Hair Basics Once you determine your hair properties, look for folks with hair like yours and see what they use (in signatures.)

KCKT is a detangler and not moist enough for me or many others. I feel the same way as you about Deva--and I used it before they changed the ingredients (for the worse, IMHO.) Gels always gave me frizz, I finally decided it was the chemicals (polyquats especially.) It may help you if you seal. Essentially, it's using an oil, or really rich product, to lock moisture in. My hair doesn't care for straight oil/butter, but likes products that contain either.
