Hair falling out after deep condish treatment

I did an at home deep conditioning treatment using avocado, egg yolk, and a little bit of evoo. I left it on for a little under an hour and this wa on Friday and it seems my half is falling out or shedding more than usual. Any idea why????

Hey me too I have been having more than average hairfall for last one week. Dc-ing with egg, evoo, banana, yogurt didn't help much. I'm guessing it's the winter. My scalp is dry and the cold weather is drying it out even more. I'm going back to pain old hot oil treatment, twice a week.

Maybe one of the ingredients didn't work for you? Do you DC with this mixture often?

Make sure there are no products on your hair, don't use conditioner (not even a silicone free one) after using the clarifying shampoo.
Next warm up some olive oil or coconut oil or whichever penetrating oil that suits your hair best. I use the above mentioned oils in a 50:50 ratio.
Apply it to your scalp and along the length your hair. Make sure to completely cover the damaged ends with the oil. It is best to do this when the hair is damp. The moisture gets trapped inside.

Now keep this for as long as you want . Applying heat is totally upto you. I keep it overnight. I wash it out with conditioner. But oil can be hard to remove for some people. Feel free to use a light shampoo if co-washing does not remove oil completely. I don't like shampoo-ing, I feel I'm ruining the effect of the DC..lol, but it's upto you. My hair is not greasy after this but I do need a lot of conditioner to wash it all out.

Anyway thats all. You may add herbs and honey to the oil if you want...google it. hope that helps

Everyones hair falls out, forget out it, it's normal. But if you are pulling out Clumps....i mean like big clumps...then see a doctor.
