Default biracial curly gal, in need of assistance!

i'm not entirely sure what kind of curly hair i have, it's all over the place and it needs to be tamed! i'm mixed and my curls are about shoulder length. my current regiment includes of using tresseme deep cleansing shampoo, nexxus humectress ultimate moisturizing conditioner, aveeno leave-in conditioner (for the time being i'm using john frieda leave-in treatment because i ran out), and i use sexy curly hair curling creme.

i really want to change my routine because my hair is way too dry and it's also really really thick in a LARGE quantity. i'm currently considering to try the curly girl method but i wanted some feedback on what yall's routines consist of.

if you can help, i'd be eternally grateful, thanks!!!
here's a picture of my hair in case my description is too vague

this was a good hair day btw

Try to shampoo once a week with either sulfate free or lower sulfate shampoo then follow up with a good conditioner and leave-in. I found that if I deep condition/pre poo before I wash my hair it doesn't get as dry and if its feeling dry through out the week I will Cowash or wet and seal my hair with an oil. Hope that helps if you have anymore questions just ask

You can use lighter oil like jojoba or sweet almond. I use coconut oil but I'm really light handed with it and it doesn't weight my hair down
