Got my Live Curly analysis - need help w/ products!
Hi everyone,
I just got my Live Curly Live Free hair analysis and now I'm thinking of purchasing some products I've been eying for a while but want to make sure they'll work for my hair. Here's what the analysis said:
Hair texture: Medium Fine
Porosity: Normal
Elasticity: Normal
The other thing it mentioned, which I don't completely understand, is that medium to fine textured hair should stay away from emollient heavy products. Here's my question, what exactly are emollients (like in the ingredient lists) and would the below products be ok for my hair?
CJ Beauticurls leave in conditioner
CJ Repair me
CJ Curl Rehab
Uncle Funky's Daughter Curly Magic
Oyin Hair Dew
Oyin Honey Hemp
Jessicurl too shea conditioner
As for protein, the analysis said it would be good on an as needed basis and was hoping Repair me would be a good choice...right?

Watch it with the jessicurl too shea and CJ rehab, most fine heads use these as DC's, not rinse outs or LI's...

Thanks Nvmbrcurlss - I was planning on using JC too shea as a RO but good to know it would be better used as a dc. Now I only have to buy one and not both

I actually went to see Tiffany....which she is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!!!! And did a hair analysis on me....I had the same result, however talking with Tiffany we came to the conclusion that my hair leans more towards the finer/ low porosity type...we reviewed my products, which I had all the same CJ products...We came to find my hair dose better with light products and the "more heavy" products like repair me, rehab, and CCCCL were coating my hair too much, causing it to frizz and lay limp. Those products are VERY moisturizing for us fine hair ladies, so be careful with them....of course this was the case with my hair.....you can see in my sig what I know use....and even still I use the Giovanni 50:50 about every 3-4 wash...just to remove any build up that may have formed...I love my hair now  ....knowing how to listen to it helps

Co-wash:Suave Naturals
LI/RO/DC: CK Satin Roots, Sevi Punpkin, SCT Okra reconstructor, Aubrey GPB
Jellies: CK Coil Jam, Okra gel(HG)
Hair loves moisture  protein.
Plop, then Smasters method and MUST Pixie diffuse.
My hair dose NOT like oils or polyquats

Thank you! I bought CCCCL a while back and hated it. It did everything you said; coated my hair, hair was limp etc. thank you! I think I'll email her my list of products and see what she says.

That is a good idea...you can also look at her pintrest pages for further help....she is the curl whidper...lol...she SAVED my hair!!!
