Finally! A CG mousse. My poor wavy mom has been looking for one so she can jump on the CG bandwagon. I'm picking that up for her tomorrow. You're so kind to take the time to list the ingredients. I just hope the polyquats and glycerine agrees with her.

I just typed during the commercials while watching tv. LOL I still haven't figured out what ingredients work for my hair so I just keep trying out products to see what works. I have tried so many combinations! Lol

Hey My3curlies! I'm curious about the pricing. I went to the Lake St. Target and the Restorative milk was 11.99 for only 8oz! It seems the bottles got smaller and the price was higher! I wonder if Target has the pricing wrong. The Target in Edina had Kinky Curly Custard for 4.99 then they changed it !!

The price sounds about typical for SM. Depending on where you buy it. My Walgreens is downtown, so I generally pay $1 more than other Walgreens, but their bottles are anywhere from 8-10 oz and priced from 9.99-11.99.

Searched my local Target yesterday, and Walgreens - neither has the new products. : ( I wonder if Sally has them, because they are carrying the Shea Moisture line...maybe I will give them a call ...

Myrna, the new products are only in 800 Target stores throughout the country.
Here is the link to their FB page that shows the list of stores:

Really???? not the shea butter or black soap line ???
Dang. SM is going hard. If the prices stay relatively low and easily available on the ground, other expensive like Miss Jessie's might lose some clientele.[/QUOTE]
I hate ms jessies products it dries my hair out like no other I can not use their products... and yeah SM doesnt have to compete with them because SM products are relatively cheap and THEY ACTUALLY WORK... not to mention the icing on the cake that they are all natural.. MS jessies doesn't hold a candle to them at all.. ms jessies doesnt work, its expensive and it has so many chemicals in it.
lmao i laughed at these gifs and the lil smiley protester

Aww man I really wanted the conditioner but the ingredients are a no-go for me. No humectants, too many oils.

Glad to entertain! I think it's the argan oil. It just doesn't do much for me. My hair really likes coconut too I think. It's in all my HG conditioners.
I have a really dry sensitive scalp and ingredients like rosemary and tea tree can be too much for my skin on a regular basis. As for the shampoo saponified oils and fats are a hair no-no. They turn my hair into straw.

Yeah, I saw that on their FB page. I have been thinking about coloring my hair, so this is perfect timing.

When I was done my Lil curls looks so nice. LOL. I couldn't believe it. It also made detangling very easy, I actually didnt have to do much detangling.

FYI, at my Target (Richfield, MN), Shea Moisture products (including all the new stuff) was buy one, get one 50% off today! Might be the last day since Sundays have new sales so if anyone has been wanting to get some new stuff you might want to go today! (Assuming all Targets have this sale...) And I also found all the new stuff in the back, left corner of the store.

I just tried their co-wash, and I am loving it as well, perhaps even more than my usual As I Am. On the other hand, however, I am not loving the tiny size of the SM bottle, especially given the price. I don't know about the rest of you, but I need to use a couple good-sized handfuls of cleanser when I co-wash, since it doesn't foam. The SM co-wash is around $10 for 8 oz, while As I Am is around $6-9 (depending on sales) for 16 oz. I'm gonna have to really fall in love with the SM if I'm going to make a permanent switch to them. We will see!

Posting here rather than my original thread...
I bought the smoothie and the souffle and I'm not sure what is up.
Up side....lots of curl!! My dh even said, "Wow!! Your straight parts are curly!!" From root to tip, I have curl rather than part way down. It is also more ringlet-y.
Down side...odd wettish look on my upper hair.
I am not sure what I did wrong.
I used a tiny bit of the smoothie. My hair loves protein. I am not sure how much of the souffle I managed to get in. It is pretty runny. I am thinking of transferring to a pump. I don't think I put tons in. I am used to Ecostyler which is much easier to manage. I did throw a tad of that on top which could be the problem. Since I wasn't sure how much of the souffle was in, and it felt strange to have the feeling of nothing in my hair, I added some of the Eco. I also did not comb through, but I don't usually. Maybe I should have done that. This was all on soaking wet hair. I do usually brush with the denman before adding things, but since everyone was saying SOAKING wet hair, I didn't do that this time.
Any thoughts?

Ah....just ran a nice wide tooth comb (from Sally's w/ olive oil that I bought for super bad hair days) through the crown of my head....for like two inches or so....not the entire length. I figured that if it didn't work, I'd just wash it again. I don't know how wise that is, but I just couldn't manage to SOTC up there. The comb worked so I think SM will be a keeper anyway.
