LOL. Sometimes, when I see the jar sitting there in my bathroom cabinet, I'm tempted to give it another try...but, I think I've learned my lesson.

Ok...I am so happy with this...my curls are shiny and frizz free. The finer canopy looks a bit producty but overall it's great!! I got some smoothie to add to the mix tomorrow so maybe that will HP with that. I also got Yucca & Baobab thickening shampoo so I'll try it all tomorrow...so excited!

They both have agave and aloe? Well damn. I hadn't looked at the ingredients in KCCC in a while I wonder why KCCC works a lot more often than the souffle works for me. I figured it was the agave and aloe, most likely to be problem ingredients, in the souffle but guess I was wrong! Pretty sure the souffle has glycerin and KCCC doesn't? maybe that's it. Maybe I need to head to my product closet and double check the ingredients!!
KCCC is a bit more pricey but honestly I've been through so many products and frustration I'd about pay an arm and a leg to find something that works consistently. Which KCCC does not, but it's more hit than miss. Sigh.

Well, perhaps it's the AMOUNTS of the aloe and agave in the two? Or perhaps the glycerin, like you said.
It's likely I'll break down on a whim and try it some day! Lol!

Lol! Well, all I can say is I'm porous and it has made a world of difference for me!
I've actually started using more products with MO in it, too.
And I do have a couple pics up, I think?? If not I'll find a couple more!
ETA: Ok, that's weird. I had uploaded a couple pics a while back, but I can't find them, nor even a place to upload pics at all. I must be missing something.
Btw, the clumps - that took me a while to figure out. The biggest thing was getting moisture into my hair. Then lots of LI. Way more than I ever would have thought. And tons of water, of course.

I am a complete fiend for anything Shea Moisture and I LOVE all their products EXCEPT this one. I tried it thrice and three strikes, it's out!
It left my hair feeling gummy, sticky, tacky and sweet...ugh! I tried spritzing my hair every day with water for a week to try and dilute it or thin it out but it still felt the same
I think the problem is that the main ingredients are agave and sugar cane extract. Every time I even slightly touched my hair it left an icky, glaze-like film on my hands.
While it did give my twist-outs "good enough" hold and definition, it made my hair feel so disgusting. To me, this is Shea Moisture's only misstep in their product line and I wish they would reformulate it.

Really?? That's so odd. I have none of those issues. Of course I put it on soaking wet hair over LI. If that's not when you apply product then it may not be right for you.

I so loved my hair today. I will have to play with amounts a bit more. I think I could stand to use a little less for more movement. But I am loving this product. Interested to see how moisturized it feels when I rinse it all out tomorrow.

Goddesscurls - I was worried when I tried it, bc when I put it in my hair felt... Idk, like it would feel dried out after it dried. But all was fine! Everything rinsed fine, too, and I've noticed no ill effects.
Skeeter - that's so odd! Maybe there is an ingredient or two that aren't playing nice. Just curious, have you tried KCCC? Maybe you said already and I'm not remembering, but I was just wondering if you had better results there, since they are similar products.

So used the Yucca lo-poo for fine hair to thicken just now...it lathered alot cause I just lo-poo'd yesterday. But I did use the soufflé yesterday and when I bought the smoothie I put some in on dry hair before I went to bed last night...figured it was so moisturizing. So when I washed today my hair didnt feel stripped at all...like it kind did with the SheaMoisture Raw she butter lo-poo I used yesterday. Not sure if that's because of the different lo-poo or because if the soufflé and smoothie. Anyway...it smelled nice. I used both smoothie and soufflé today...combed them all they and sprayed with water some more. Think I used more smoothie than soufflé..it's dripping now but looks good so we'll see. If this stuff works I may have found hg's. I am a bit afraid that if/when I decide not to lo-poo and just to cowash that I may be way too moisturized. I'll try it eventually but does anyone know that assuming the lo-poo doesn't strip ur hair or make it feel dry and damaged...if it's ok to use that every time?

Ladies...I think we have an HG! My hair is 95 percent dry. Perfect frizz free curls...plus it smells great. It was a little crunchy earlier but I put in a little more smoothie on dry hair and scrunched some...man it looks awesome!!

I got the Yucca thickening mask which I had heard makes ur hair strong but sometimes kind of course and tough to comb thru. I used it today...left it on for like a hour or so...when I rinsed it out it wasn't super slippy but certainly not tough to get thru. I had detangled before I put the stuff in and I also combed while the stuff was on. Anyhow...it did feel a bit stronger...I may use again tomorrow...

I was hoping the kccc would be a substitute for flaxseed gel only with a longer shelf life. Havent tried it yet but it is on my hair wish list. (Which is an actual list that I have been working on for future purchases hehehe).

Lol! We all have that list, don't feel bad!!
That's the same thing I wanted - a sub for FSG when traveling or when I run out. I thought the soufflé would be good bc of its texture, and bc it has flax in it.
So far I'm liking it better than FSG!
