Okay, so I am having a heck of a time getting this to work for me and am just ready to give up! So this is my last cry for help b-4 I go the swap route. I ordered this instead of the Spiral Curls Cream, because of the added cones. I was hoping it would be a good curl definer/enhancer to use under my gels, and although it is very moisturizing, and smells delicious, it does not seem to work with any other products I have used it with.
I'm having great success with Curly Q
milkshake however, but find that the Custard makes my hair weighed down and frizzy, and even dirty looking if I use a little too much. I usually have a lot of natural volume and tend to have drier hair that soaks conditioning products right up.
So far I have tried it over
milkshake-(talk about over-conditioned!), under mousse, under light hold AND strong hold gels (PM Styling glaze and BRHG), and even on it's own. I have tried it on soaking wet and just damp hair, and it definitely seems to work better on less wet hair. It was a disaster using it on second day dry hair as a curl refresher though-holy frizziness!
So, my question is if you are having success with this or Souffle', how much do you use, what order in your routine are you using it, and what products have you had success using it with? I have long thick hair, med. textured with both waves and curls.
Thank you for letting me vent curlies!!!
