Informative and overwhelming. The good: an offering of terrific, greatly needed advice about hydrating curls instead of using sulfate shampoos. Plus I like that several curl types are represented. And I like that every type of curly hair is shown in a positive light! It covered lots of good info in a single shot.
The not so great: It came off as a commercial for curly products IMO. And newbies to curly hair care may feel overwhelmed by the many (sometimes unnecessary) steps presented, like each woman twisting pieces of her already curly hair to coax curls The lesbian overtones were esp. irritating; gimmicky and exploitive.
