So great and everyone had such pretty curls! It also a great reminder that just because someone's hair looks like yours (same curl pattern) doesn't mean the products they use will work for you.

The whole look-we're-women-in-the-shower-taking-each-other's-tops-off! thing was annoying but it did have good info.

Oh my goodness that was very inspiring, spirited and sweet. Thank you for sharing.

Does anybody else do what Nicole does and applies oil right out of the shower instead of a leave in? I am wondering now if that's a good idea. Look at that shine!
Informative and overwhelming. The good: an offering of terrific, greatly needed advice about hydrating curls instead of using sulfate shampoos. Plus I like that several curl types are represented. And I like that every type of curly hair is shown in a positive light! It covered lots of good info in a single shot.

The not so great: It came off as a commercial for curly products IMO. And newbies to curly hair care may feel overwhelmed by the many (sometimes unnecessary) steps presented, like each woman twisting pieces of her already curly hair to coax curls The lesbian overtones were esp. irritating; gimmicky and exploitive.

Be who you are

Trying to be more curl conscious since 06/30/12
* I have 3B, fine hair with low porosity, high density & it goes past my shoulders.
