Well I had enough hair to donate! Went to a non-curly salon an got a traditional wet cut. Styled only with Aveda Be Curly. Diffused, but with way too much touching the hair, so it's less defined than it will be when I style myself, but to give an idea...Getting a Curly Bob!-imageuploadedbycurltalk1358003022.602522.jpg

Wow, it looks fantastic! Can't wait to see the self styled pic, but even this one looks so stylish.

And two thumbs up for contributing to such a worthy cause My son and I are striving for the requisite length for Locks for Love too, but it looks like I'll get there first, since his is MUCH curlier than mine (4a vs 3a).

Yay!!! Do you like it?? Do you think you'll devacut it next time? I think if I was going to a bob, I would do what you did for the initial cut, and then save the deva cut for the next time.

I can't wait to see it after you've styled it yourself!!

I love it. It was exactly what I was hoping for. And I was thinking that maybe next time I would see a Deva stylist, but I'm really glad I went with someone I already knew and trusted.

Well it looks adorable!!!

Makes me entertain the idea... Again... But who am I kidding? I have thought about it for YEARS and never taken the plunge!

It will be interesting to see how your curls react/adjust! Mine usually take several days to "get used to" a cut. That's part of why is never bother with a devacut that first time!

You'll have to keep us informed of how your routine changes, etc!

So cute!!!!

Thanks everyone! I'll definitely post a few more pics and updates after I style it myself. I almost wish I had the time and a good excuse to wash it today.

I love it too, it's really pretty though I think your hair would look pretty whatever you did with it!

Well I had to use the Devafuser today because that's what was in my overnight bag. It was so awesome to not have to spend 10 minutes detangling my hair. Please don't mind the goofy face- I was rushing to get to choir. Getting a Curly Bob!-imageuploadedbycurltalk1358091823.993766.jpg

I really like it! Every couple of years I chop most of my hair off and I love how easy it is to take care of.

This post is dangerous because it makes me want to get a haircut. I have to keep reminding myself short hair is expensive to maintain. (My hair grows fast and the stylist I like isn't so cheap.) But I love the look Corrina! So jealous.

Thank you all so much! I'm probably going to keep it short long enough to do a curly cut next time, but will probably grow my hair out again after that. I like it long or short, but I was never fond of the in between phase...

THIS!!!!

Though I'd just wuss out - I've talked about doing it for years. I know if I did it I'd probably immediately start re-growing it, even if I liked it, simply bc I'm too busy/poor to get it cut often enough to maintain it! Lol!
