LUSH Big solid conditioner? Sulfate free?!

Hey! Any Lushies out there? Has anyone tried out the new Big solid conditioner bar?? It is apparently sulfate and silicone free!

I was super excited to hear about this, as I have been a huge fan of Lush for a while, and was disappointed when I went CG and found most of their hair products to have sulfates. The only one I still use is the R&B to SOTC and tame frizz. (And also my last remains of Retread conditioner to cowash even though it has sulfates, ssshhhh!)

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet and what your thoughts are. I picked up a sample to try out today, and will be giving it a test run this week. Still not sure how I plan to use it, either as a RO/LI or cowash, or all of the above...I am just really excited, maybe Lush is coming around to the sulfate free products finally. I admittedly have high hopes / we shall see, I will post my thoughts if any are interested!

Thanks! Have a wonderful day!! )

Hey JennaBug,
I am very interested in your thoughts! Please share it when you tried the product
Sorry for the delay... I had a nasty meeting with some coconut oil and I wanted to give my hair time to recoup before I tried another product on it!

I finally gave Lush's Big solid condish bar a try...two different ways. First was as a rinse out conditioner. I found it difficult to apply thoroughly. It doesn't seem to cream up very well in your hands, making it hard to apply generously. I also found it gets tangled in my hair when slicked thru. Overall, not such a great match...I ended up supplementing it with my normal RO, didn't leave me with the best hair that day but it wasn't too bad.

So that plan foiled, I tried it today as a co-wash. Again, it was difficult to get enough on the scalp to cleanse thoroughly. It also seemed difficult to rinse out, and it feels like it left a residue at my roots, now that it is dry. Not sure if that is because it didn't rinse out or it didn't cleanse the oil build up away.

My hair looks ok. Not frizzy at all but NO volume whatsoever. Curls are nice and clumped but its very flat up top.

Over all I am disappointed on this one... A real bummer since I love Lush products so much. It may work better for someone with straighter hair.
