So I think I want to go back to One C, but...

I just have been doing so well with avoiding cones!! Why does this conditioner have to have cones? Also, I don't use low-poo, I co-wash, so I can't remove the cone....what should I do?
OneC only has Amodimethicone in it and Amodimethicone is water soluble which means you don't need to shampoo. I use it and I have never experienced build up.

I have to second that. I only use deva products including no poo and I have no problems.
Hair type, thin, 3b, past my shoulders always looking for length. Use jessicurl hair cleansing cream, devacurl one c, angel, set it free, Always see a deva trained stylist for cut and Aveda Institute for color.
Thanks!! Now I just need a gel to use over it! Angell is not enough hold & Arc Angell did not do well in my hair - maybe I need to try that in the summer again.
I agree with the others regarding using One C and co-washing or using No-Poo. It hasn't been a problem for me and it's not like it's high up on the list of ingredients. Have you tried Herbal Essences Set Me Up gel?

I tried the HE totally twisted & that was too light - so I can't win. Also, if I use the One C again, I will probably leave most of it in & put the gel over it. Just trying to get down to two products (conditioner & gel) if possible....As you can tell, I've had it w/ my hair

How many of you use the Devacare vs. the Devacurl One C?
Yeah, I didn't care for the HE TT gel either. SMU is the only drugstore gel I've had good luck with, otherwise it's B&A or Abba Weightless for me. Have you tried Aura?

I'm currently comparing the deva curl and care oneC's. I have nothing definitive but my initial impression is that the care coats my hair and I require more for detangling. The deva curl seems to agree with my hair more.

I haven't tried Aura over One C yet, in fact I've only tried it once and didn't have good results so I haven't used it again so far. I like both versions of One C but I do get better slip with regular One C.

Thanks for the advice - I'll try one of the million gels I have here, then maybe tomorrow or Monday, I'll take a trip & give the HE gels another try.
