Thumbs up Octopus clamps & CHS CK only results! My experiment today

OK, so I am continually trying to find the best routine for my hair. Today I used my octopus jaw clamps for root lift and only CHS CK as my styler. Results:

Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Conditioners: Curl Junkie Beauticurls Strengthening Conditioner,
Deep condish: Curl Junkie Curl Rehab
Stylers: Experimenting with cones & sulfates while the dews are high.
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.

Thank you There are different sizes of them, I have medium and large. However, the one thing I don't like is that my curls wrap themselves around the handle part and getting them out of my hair is a bit tricky. They did cause a bit of frizz.

I've more or less accepted my flat top (part of being a 2), but your pics are inspiring.

If I can find some smaller octopi, maybe I'll give them a try. Thanks!
