Default Recs for a product that will make my hair shiny?

Maybe something like morrocanoil but curly girl approved? Oils like jojoba and coconut oil don't really give me the shine I'm looking for. TIA

For reference I started CG method about a month ago so I always try to keep my hair moisturized, do deep treatments, etc.. also, I have low porosity hair.

Devacurl set it free adds nice shine and tames frizz. But I don't have to use it anymore because I have amazing shine with kinky curly curling custard and the knot today leave in. Seriously my hair is even shinier now that I wear curly than it was when I wore it straight. Not sure if kinky curly will work with your hair type but it's worth a try.

Desert essence red raspberry conditioner gave me extra shine. You can easily order it on iherb.com with cheap shipping costs. A discount code can be found in my signature.

Rinsing your with icy cold water after rinse out and before your leave in, also gives great shine. You can do that in the sink.

Try original Moxie's hair bling. This product is aptly named. The shine is ridiculous.

@dusalocks yes i have KCCC and it works ok in my hair but it probably would work better with the knot today. I will probably just go ahead and buy the knot today and give them a try together
@Aqua_Lily Thank you for the discount code I'm such a product junkie I will probably place an order and by the way you have beautiful hair

@Jrjrr I don’t make my own...I bought BotticelliBabe(BB) FSG off someone...Its pretty basic recipe..Its her "no fail" FSG...I have emailed her for a customized recipe...I would like to add her silk protein and slightly more hold...but if you Google BB "no fail" flax seed gel...there is like 20-30 pages of info and what people use...

Agree on both points! Also, when I do an oil treatment my hair seems shinier, but not when I leave it in.

Any kind of oil makes my hair shine. Gels make it shine too. Certain conditioners (including KCCC) do it too. But shine is one of those weird things for me. I don't actually like mine very shiny lol ... for some reason I'm into a less polished look. Guess I'm more of a volume seeker (I'm fascinated by root volume)

[Tangent]Something to consider in the quest for shine: not all hair shines, and some only achieve shine when the hair is forced into it kicking and screaming. Some ppl don't see their hair shine unless they stretch it out (straighten), and/or set it in some kind of curl set. It can also depend on things like hair type, texture and porosity.[/End tangent]

Deva mirror curls. A little goes a long way and I get shine like no other. I like to apply on dry hair

Dianemary, is the mirror curls like a serum? I remember seeing it at the store but choosing the Set It Free instead. Some of the deva styling products are so kinda of wishy washy I'm not sure how to use them.
