I had heard of the brown sugar scrub, but not of it removing cones. Or actually, that's probably more likely to be the BS, I'd guess. Did you follow up with some ACV? It's my understanding that you are supposed to to balance the ph. ?

My hair is highly porous, too. Will put this on the list to try the next time I need to clarify!
