Default Question from guy.

Alright, I'm a guy and have zero idea on this type of stuff. Would really appreciate some female opinions though. I have redhair but I'm looking to make it a little less "orange". If I'm out somewhere with dim lighting you can't really tell if I'm a brunette or redhead but during the day it's just a little too orange for me. I really like the color it has when I step out of the shower and it appears a bit darker. However, I also like the lighter color that it turns when I'm in the sun for a while. Are either of these shades easily achievable through some type of product? Literally, I'm just looking for some type of subtle change like the colors I mentioned above. I'm not trying to show up for work or lectures looking drastically different than the day before. Would really appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

I would try henna if I were you! That's natural, hair friendly dye and you can give your hair that slightly darker shade that you want.

I agree. Just tint it. Auburn hair looks great on men and it wouldn't be hell on the upkeep. I think there are premade henna kits at the health food store too. Has anyone tried those out?
