Cut my hair off, looking for new product recs

Now that my hair is short again, I am looking for product recommendations. When it was long, all I did was scrunch some conditioner into it and let it dry.

I am still on with the air dry, but I am looking for something to give me better curl hold. I tried the conditioner like I did when it was long and my hair looked weird and no separated curls. Yesterday, I tried Angel and my hair was a frizzy, undefined mess. Today, I am trying the Fructis Sleek & Shine Leave-In Conditioning Cream. Will know later if it worked.

I am trying to stay CG, so would prefer those types of products.

Back a few years ago, I used to post tons of hair pictures. And I think back in 2005 or so, I might have posted a picture of one eye.

She's really pretty, and sometimes she posts pics of work-related stuff, which is either great or very bad indeed.

Plus there were pics of a dig she went on, with a man who liked to "impart knowledge."

I may have seen that eye, now that you mention it. I wonder where I was when you were posting all these hair pics. I must've been in a cave, or probably just the non-hair

I think the pictures all either on the 3A board or on the 2 board. That's probably why you missed them, Goldy.

I've never figured out my hair type.... and now all these new things like porosity & density, which I've recently learned since making my way over to the general hair board a few weeks ago.
I feel limited in where I can post since I don't know much about my hair

I'll go hide in a corner now.

Yeah, I am good as far as saying I am 3A. After that, it gets murky.

I believe I'm botticelli. Which means nothing when I'm reading posts trying to figure out good products to try on my hair.

I still use fruit of the earth aloe vera gel on my hair. I started with it 11 years ago. It worked great when my hair was shorter, but it doesn't seem to be enough hold for my longer hair.
