My first trip to Ulta...
 

It was like product overload! LOL. I went to pick up some AG Recoil. I am hoping it will help with my crown curls. They always seem to be pulled into clumps with the under layers. I hope it will, along with sectioning my hair during product application will promote some spirals.

Jules, how have you never been to Ulta? I much prefer it to Sephora because they have better deals and sales and tons of drugstore products too. Good luck with the recoil.

I really wish we had an Ulta in Toronto or the surrounding greater Toronto area...I have been to some of them during some trips and I spent forever in there buying things...my husband was dying to leave, he looked so bored and I kept giving him things to hold.

I don't know, it is in a mall, and I hate going to malls so I just never go there. But, I also believe it is a relatively new store.

I also hate indoor malls so I know what you mean. We have lots of outdoor malls and shopping centers in California though so a trip to Ulta can be exclusively Ulta. Get an Ulta card, Jules! They'll send you 20% your purchase coupons a few times a year in the mail or email. You can also order online. It's very convenient.

I have a bit of canopy frizz, but i don't think I hit that area with enough gel. I love that store!

Wow, I'm surprised to hear that. I thought it was everywhere. Maybe cause I go there so much. LOL It used to be called Ulta3 and they changed it to just Ulta quite a few years ago.
My coworker calls it Ultra and that drives me nuts! "Do you want to walk over to Ultra with me during lunch today?". Uggh! Lol

Really? Is it like Sally's where I can return something if I tried it and didn't like it? Cuz I think there's one near my job if I googled it correctly!

Yes, they're fantastic about returns. You don't even need a receipt if you used your Ulta card - they already have the purchase on file.

I have a lot of trouble at Ulta......it's like a spending vacuum for me. I try only to go in when I have coupons. Same issue as sKorpio.

I went before work today. It looks like Sephora on steroids lol. I purposely averted my eyes after I got the re:coil because I'm broke and with a credit card.... bad combo! Lol If I don't like the re:coil it's def going back. I saw their big bottles of shampoo and conditioner cost $50! I almost passed out. For these prices AG better be freaking amazing in my hair! I can't wait to try it tomorrow :D If anyone has used it here, would u recommend using a leave in before I apply it or just using it alone? The gel I have right now doesnt control my frizz so I would only use leave in with it or just the recoil alone. I don't feel like going out and buying gel too and risking AG not work anyway :-/
