Ok so I don't see a HUGE difference between dryers BUT the nano dries my hair well without making it feel like it parched my hair like my other dryer. So that i really like. Also it reduces frizz a little bit. So overall I like it. Feels like good quality and it's light IMO cuz my old one was heavy. Here's a pic after using it:

Although today I made the mistake of not patiently waiting for my hair to dry so I put the dryer on high and blasted my hair lol now I remember why I don't do that anymore. I have a gigantic ball of frizz for hair today. *grabs hat on the way out*

So far so good with the blow dryer. I like it!

I'm really interested in hard hat dryers as I don't have a ton of time to diffuse my hair in the morning and I'm thinking if I could do some work/check emails while the hard hat dries my hair that would be a great solution for me.

As far as volume, couldn't you wear clips (duckbill or those CHS ones) under the hard hat?

Over a year later and I finally broke down and bought one today lol. I got is for $88 on sale at Sally's. It was originally $119. I'm doing a DT with it now. I do like the warm feeling on my head lol but anyway, we'll see how it turns out

sKorpio1190, did you mean you broke down and got the hard hat dryer? How do you like it and how does it compare to the FHI Nano?

After much consideration, I too ordered the FHI Nano. I'm hoping drying with it will be a little faster than the softhood bonnet I currently have.
2BC/f/II. fine - low/normal porosity - medium density - normal elasticity.

Currently using:
Low-poo: Jason Mango bodywash
Cowash: Cure Care diluted with water 1:1
RO: Cure Care, V05 Kiwi Lime
Styler: UFD CM (old formula), FSG + CNPF
PT: IAgirl's gelatine

light moisture, hydrolized protein, jelly stylers
guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride, sulfates, jojoba oil
Neutral on cones.

iherb discount code: CFN646
I returned it. My hair was too flat and I don't DT enough to keep it around. I still prefer diffusing upside down
