So frustrated with trying to use a sleep cap!
I am almost at my wits end with this. I pineapple and then wear a satin cap over my head but lately it is somehow coming off my head while I sleep. I either find it next to me in bed, on the floor next to the bed, of still partway on my head. Perhaps this is why I have difficulty getting 2nd day, etc hair. Luckily my hair is ok today, so I got 2nd day hair.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to either fix the cap so it actually stays on or another type of cap/wrap?
Any help would be appreciated.

I've had the same problem if I pineapple and use a sleep cap. I gotta do one or the other, not both. Regardless of which I do, I always use a satin pillowcase.

Yes! I think my satin pillowcase is what saved my hair this time.

I sleep with a satin pillowcase and a satin cap just in case it falls off. I bobby pin it to my head so it usually doesn't

Is the cap old? I have to replace mine every few months because the elastic wears out, and the cap then doesn't stay on as well.

Brand spanking new cap. Thank you for the suggestions. I'll try the bobby pinning.

Maybe try this sleep cap. It's cheap, it's satin and it has a drawstring!

I agree if it's falling off buying a cap that ties on is best and you can find them really cheap at Walmart plus you won't have to keep buying replacements when the elastic wears out. I pineapple and use a satin cap but since my hair is long I use a bigger one and just lay it flat across my pillow.

I've tried clipping my bonnet to my hair with small duckbill clips, but eventually I just resolved that if the cap falls off, it falls off. I'd have some nights where I was constantly fearful that my cap would fall off that I didn't get a good night's sleep. Seriously.
I've also had the opposite problem, I have a large satin sleep cap that fits too tightly around my head that it often gives me a headache.
I'm considering getting a scarf to wrap around my hair when I pineapple, because I think I'd get better results that way and worry less about it falling off.
