Default My poor hair - Disaster! what did I do to you :(

Whatever possessed me to do this - I don't know. I bought curling irons 2 - can you believe that and tried for the first time in my life to use them. My hair fried like nothing I have ever seen. It didn't curl - it just got horribly damaged on the ends. My hair is dyed to start and even though I used a low heat it got fried.

I will never, ever, ever use them again - throwing them out. I rushed to my Curl Rehab and pray I don't have to cut off too much.

Also, these things scare me. I am clumsy, I could get a horrible burn. What on earth was I thinking? Sympathy and encouragement for my curls welcome.

We've all had our share of hair disasters. The Curl Rehab should help. Lots of good moisture in there! Keep us posted on how things work out for you. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

*hugs you*

A deep condish should help! You're straigtened only once, so there should be no permanent damage

I second aqua_lily. It's going to be okay. It was just the once. Just TLC those damaged ends and we'll all hope and pray for your precious hair. And don't throw the iron out! If you still have the packaging, just place it back in its box and take it back to the store and say that it severely burned your hair at a low temperature. I'd want my money back. Curling irons are tricky too. You have to wear a heat glove to protect yourself against burning. You're not the only one they make nervous.

Thank you Mhen, for answering and making me feel like less of a complete idiot by saying that others have had their disasters too. The Curl Rehab definitely helped.

Aqua_Lily (pretty name) hugs back to you! Thanks for chiming in.

Dusalocks, I threw out the packaging, but I'm feeling a lot better now. I rewashed my hair with lots of Curl Rehab and you are right - my curls will bounce back.

Thanks so much to all of you. It is wonderful to have a support group like this!
