How large should a flour sack be?
 

I want to buy one for plopping, but don't know how big it should be. Is 16 x 26 ok?

I suppose it depends on what size your head is! I use the 28"x29" FS towels from Walmart but my head is big.

mine is too. darn. i already ordered the 16x26 :oops:

The ones a got from target are 28 inches square. I fold one corner under and put the fold at my forehead, they're plenty big.

i hope the one i ordered ends up being a waste :cwm10:

On the bright side you can always use it for drying instead of plopping if it's too small.

+1. Even though they seem too thin to do anything, the FST are incredibly absorbent. I just lay mine over my hair before getting out of the shower & it just pulls the water out like a magnet.

I bought mine from Target, but I'm not sure how big it is, and it has since shrunk (hubby didn't realize not to put them in the dryer :(

Also, don't use fabric softener on them, as it reduces absorbency.
