Reforming clumps for 2nd day

So, today I have 2nd day hair - yay! But there are of course the couple spots here and there that need to be smoothed.

But there are also a few REALLY fuzzed out clumps in the back and underneath. (Thanks, winter coat!!)

How do you guys reform those? I've been taking condish and a tiny bit of water and adding some gel. I have tried condish, oil, and LOOB too. I have had moderate success with either combo, and perhaps that's all I can expect! But I just thought someone may have some additional pointers here! Tia!

I divide into 4 sections. I take a section of hair and twist it into a spiral, then form the spiral in a circle and secure with a jaw clip. Then I shower and maybe hair gets damp or a little wet. Then hit with the blow dryer a few times while I'm getting dressed.
It really helps to make my hair look smoother and curls fuller.
