Question need help looking for a gel

I'm currently using deva angell but I'm finding it less useful these days. I have fine, thin hair that easily weighted down and my hair really has a hard time with oils - just too heavy most of the time.
I'm looking for a gel that has light hold that will enhance curl formation.... Any suggestions?
Doesn't have to be a gel either..... I have used creams before but have not found one my hair likes. B&B was ok

Garnier pure clean gel. It reminds me alot of the Deva ultra defining gel.

Have you tried EcoStyler? It's cheap.

I use Kiss My Face Upper Management gel. It's a light hold (the bottle says medium but it's definitely light) and my hair really loves it, and the smell is great. Kiss My Face, OHC, Upper Management, Styling Gel, Grapefruit, 8 fl oz (236 ml) - iHerb.com

I'm having similar issues. My hair is weird, if I put gel in when my hair is wet, it's like my hair gets stuck in the way the gel was put in, and places dry straight, when that same curl would normally curl well. But, I sue fsg, and KCCC and they don't hold well for me, it's still frizzy mess around parts

Hey there!! Fine 3a/b here... I absolutely love Aussie Instant Freeze gel- and it's so cheap that if your hair doesn't like it, you aren't out much! For me, it gives just enough hold with LOTS of shine(no silicones in it, either!) but it's not crunchy. It works really well for me.

I can even put it on my dry hair to smooth frizzies and it behaves well. Good luck!

I've been looking at the comments on this one and I'm interested but most of the feedback seems to be from 4a's. I'm 3a and my hair is quite thick. I'm just starting to do the Deva method of putting gel into dripping wet hair and it takes quite a bit of product so I'd like to get something good, moisturizing and inexpensive.
Some comments on the Ecostyler say it's very thick. I don't want something liquidy but if it's real sticky might not be best for me.
Anyone with hair like mine who has used this?
thanks

While it's in stock on her site and CurlMart, you should check out either the Spiral Solutions Curl Enhancing Jelly or the Firm Hold Gel (same company). They are both great products with lighter hold. The firm hold is a bit stiffer hold but still very scrunchable.

after scouring product reviews for days, i'm super excited to order SSCEJ when i get paid this week & give that a whirl under gel! i also just ordered Abba Pure Finish & Giovanni Magnetic gels to try. if those gels don't work out, i guess the next step is to try (the far less expensive options) Eco Styler and Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Gel.

I really like SS CEJ as a curl enhancer! It's very lightweight and non sticky.
