Ugh, what to do with my bangs?

Ever since I have started cg I stopped straightening my bangs. I had them all my life. Straight bangs and curls just don't look right on me, so I have decided to let them grow out.
Now what? They curl up too much to let them hang ( since I don't blow dry them anymore they just curl tighter and like to stick out and away ), I have tried pinning them to the side, to the back and it just makes me look like my great grandma. And they do not want to stay put! I can stretch them past my nose now but they curl up to my eyebrows no matter what product I put in!
So frustrating! With curly bangs I look like something out off the early 80s.
Any advise for me?
Picture is from my first week after starting cg and my curls are a lot tighter now.

I'd style them as side bangs. I gather them to a side, taking extra hair as I go for added body, slide on some gel and scrunch the curls to the side. Sometimes I slip a bobby pin so they'll stay in place while they dry. I personally think your curly bangs are very cute. And they'll grow out before you know it.

I've had bangs in an awkward stage like that. I pull them straight back and secure them with bobby pins into a quiff. Not sure if that's your style, but if you don't like the side bangs, that's a good option. Also headbands!

I have used bobby pins the same color as my hair. Kind of lift the bangs up and pin to the side towards the back. Works well and looks nice - you can't tell anything is there.

Thank you both for your encouraging words!
Pulling and pinning them back make my huge forehead look HUGE ( my insecurities come out full force :-) ) and the side swept will not stay in the bobby pin unless I pull them so tight that it looks like a camel licked me across the forehead
Maybe the best thing is to let them be and not look in the mirror for a while.

Kay one more thing you can try. Try finger curling them into separate ringlets (with product) and spreading them across the forehead. Then teasing them so they look messy and in disarray on purpose. When my bangs and hair was short I had something like this:

going on.
