Arrow Gel For Ponytail Days?

I have these annoying baby hairs that just cannot be tamed! I have no idea what kind of gel to buy, considering I won't be using it for all of my hair, just the top part to hold it down. Anyway, any help would be nice.

I use gel regularly - every time I wet my hair. I like LALooks Sport or Aussie Instant Freeze. If I'm just looking to tame some fllyaways and not totally rewet my hair, I like LOOB (LOreal Out of Bed texturizer). Sometimes I spritz my hair with a mixture of water and aloe vera gel. I either smooth down the flyaways or finger curl them and let them hang.
