Light products that can give volume?

I got 6 of them for $3.50. Very inexpensive. And it's a nice salon. I was surprised they were so cheap. Maybe I'll just keep the clips away from the front. I tend to get root curl around the face on good day. And whatever height I'd want to add would look good in the back. Oh well. If I get the hang of them I'll be sure to let you know. Maybe I'll check out more youtube videos and experiment.

I tried the CHS gel last year and I remember having really hard hair. It was beyond crunchy. And dusa, I'm glad someone can enjoy my stay-at-home hair! Lol

Yea, after. It probably was just too strong for my hair, ur right
Medium texture, normal porosity, normal elasticity
I second CJ CIAB. I tried a sample of CK and it made my scalp insanely itchy so I couldn't even see how it worked in my hair! I had to wash it out almost immediately.

But I have certain products that make me itchy and I don't think I've heard of anyone else here have the same reaction.
Coarse texture, normal-high porosity, normal elasticity (Komaza Care), very weak waves
cleanser: Redken Fresh Curls Shampoo, CJ Daily Fix

rinse out: GVP Conditioning Balm, CJ Repair Me, CJ Smoothing

jellies/creams: CR Curl Maker, KCCC, UFD Curly Magic
gels: CJ CQ, BRHG

For some reason my hair doesn't like CJ. I've tried shampoo, conditioners, DT and styling products from them with no luck.

Are they too heavy? I heard really good things about the PT & DT, but their products are a bit pricey. I want to try the SS RPT and I am considering the AIA CJ. I like that it's not as sticky as a gel since its a jelly and I can find it at Sally's but its more than curlmart.

Maybe cuz I was using the coconut cowash only in the shower too. I gave it away tho so I can't try it again and see what happens. Also, from what I remember their stuff elongated my curls and I need shrinkage. That's why I like AG recoil. I'm hoping the Curl keeper over the recoil will control frizz because other than that issue I love that stuff. I only used recoil today:

That's what I'm looking for too especially for the back curls. They tend to be dry and not as curly since its mostly damaged hair. So I need something that helps them curl. I've been wanting to try recoil for a while but I've been sticking to products that are accessible until now lol. Hopefully someone puts it on the swap board soon Your hair looks really nice...curls everywhere. I want mine to look like that in the back.

Sorry about the abbreviations. I tend to feel like I write too much so I try my best not too, but it usually doesn't work out lol.

Thank u! people tell me "I wish I had curly hair like yours" and I always tell them to take it lol. It's so hard to manage. I feel like no matter what I do it only looks good when it's in the mood to lol. My hair is moody like me, go figure. I used to have much less curls in the back until I got it cut and layered. It used to be down to my lower back but now that it's short and lighter it curls more easily. Also, I got the recoil in Ulta by my job but it's 20 miles from my house -__- so the next one I get will be the one with the pump bottle from eBay or wherever it's cheaper and don't worry about the abbreviations. I just have trouble remembering all of them, especially of its products I've never tried or heard of haha

I have moody curls too. Some days they look great and I love them and others they annoy me lol. Down to your lower back? That's pretty long. I'm trying to grow it long but I'm trying to fight the urge to cut a lot of the damage off. Lets see how I feel in a few months or maybe I'll wait till Dec. Ulta sells recoil I have one close by like 15 mins away. I think I'll be stopping by this weekend
