Default A lighter cowash?

When I got my Devacut I found out that my hair texture is fine and not coarse. I've always figured it fine/normal as it never felt course and was quite porous (normal-high).

I have been using As I Am Coconut Cowash and I've come to find that it is too heavy for me. My curls end up more wavy and there is less volume. The past week I've just been using my Rinse Out to do it all and there is more volume and spring.

I would like to find a lighter CoWash but per the Deva Stylist, those heavy in oils (like Coconut) may weigh my hair down too much and possibly over-moisturize.

Lost my post lol.

What are cowash alternatives that aren't as heavy as the As I Am?

I've never used As I Am, so I couldn't say how this compares. However, I've got hair that's finer than a lot of babies do, and I use VO5 Herbal Escapes Kiwi-Lime Squeeze Conditioner to co-wash. It's super cheap and does a terrific job.

I have fine hair also and I like the Suave naturals Ocean Breeze scent? Its the blue one. I also like the new Shea moisture cowash, I just wish the bottle was bigger.

V05 conditioners are definitely light and worth trying, but just fyi the Kiwi Lime one has protein (hydrolyzed collagen). Using it as a daily co-wash was too much for me.

My hair is not fine but I found the as i am co-wash is a little heavy. I love devacurl no Poo, curl junkie daily fix, and love love Darcy's botanicals cleansing conditioner...as far as higher end products. Suave and vo5 work good. Giovanni tea trea conditioner is excellent as a co-wash and I used to use Walgreens bioinfusion rosemary mint conditioner with success, not sure if its still around though.

A little late to the party but I'll put my experience in.
I managed to find the SheaM cowash a few weeks ago and it's definitely lighter than the AIA cowash. It's got good slip for me, more than most, and I like the feel of it on my hair better than the AIA. I definitely don't need a L/I when I use it. I used to like the Bioinfusion rosemary mint but it gave me buildup and now that I think about it that was before I discovered that I actually can clarify poo without problems. *gasp*
Yep evil mod-CG here, come to the dark side.

+1 Sheamoisture CH Co-wash. I love it and its not heavy at all. I never used the AIA co-wash. I have a bad reaction to Suave/VO5. The more Organic products work best on my hair and scalp.

Going to have to try the SM Co-Wash. I use a lot of their products already.

The VO5 and I didn't agree. The Kiwi has some scent that upsets my asthma...

PearlRose - Please let us know your results on the SM Co-Wash

I Like to use the SM Co-wash as a scalp scrub and put a heavy conditioner on my ends (like Giovanni Smooth as Silk or Organix Coconut Milk).
