What Type of Hair Am I?

After a suggestion from one of you lovely ladies, I decided to try to find someone with my hairtype to try to see what they do since my routine isn't working. I just started the CG way almost two weeks ago and am having a problem with clumping and frizzing.

In these pictures I have used A TON of the GF curling cream and my hair is crunchy. I am, obviously, the one with curly hair! I am thinking I am a 3b/3c. What do you guys think?

I'd guess 3b. Pretty! I read on another thread that you just got a cut. Can I ask the name of the stylist, salon and number where you got your hair cut? I haven't got a cut for over 20 weeks now and I really need a trim! I moved back here this last summer and haven't found a great stylist yet. :(

I did just get a cut, which doesn't show in the pictures. My hair is longer then that now and more layered due to the cut.

I got my hair cut at Madusalon in San Francisco. They specialize in naturally curly hair. My stylist was Carolina. She rocks. I'm going back for color in March. Was supposed to get some color tomorrow, but I'm going on vacation on Thursday and didn't want to risk not liking it and being pissed on my vactaion. LOL... I would highly recommend Carolina or Jaretta at Madusalon if you're in the bay area.

You are so gorgeous. You remind me of Tyra Banks. Especially in the last two pics :)

Thanks! May I ask about how much she charges for a cut (alone or with styling, etc)? Do you have her/salon number? I'm in Newark.

The Deva Cut is $75. I got the Deva products she used (sans the no-poo and lavender refreshing spray), so it was more and then there was the tip.

I don't have the number off the top of my head, but if you search google for Madusalon, you will find it. They rarley answer the phone, but typically call you back within an hour or so of you leaving a message.

Also, Carolina is very popular so she is booked quickly. Make sure when you call you let them know you want a Deva cut so that they can schedule your appointment with enough time. Oh yea, if you come after 5 pm they give you wine! :D

Thanks! I may give them a try later. I just booked a consult and possible cut at a salon in SJ for next Tues. Less money, and hopefully a great cut. :)
