hot oil treatment

Hey everyone
I wanna kno how often should you do hot oil treatments? And whats your best oil you use?

Do you leave over night
Do you use heat or no heat
How you wash it out

Is there away I can download a pic on here from my phone instead from a computer ?

The best way to wash it put is with believe it or not conditioner. It sounds like it wouldn't work at forst but conditioner will emulsify the oil (i.e. make the oil and water mix) thus making it come out of your hair. Experiment with different oils and see what you like. Coconut oil can make your ends crispy in winter or if your just protein sensitive. I would reccomend jojoba or avocado. Olive oil is great too but it can be heavy. I usually don't leave mine overnight and you can wrap your head in a warm towel to help it really do its magic. Hope I helped.

A. Dickey of Hair Rules Salon suggested that I use Neem oil at night and wash out in the a.m. because I had told him that sealing with oil didn't work for me. Neem is some kind of oil from India (I think) - very light. It is in Beautiful Curls Shea Butter and Neem Oil Nourishing Curl
oil. I expect most light oils would work fine.

I don't use heat. I'm pleased with the results when I use the Neem but BringingBack is right - oil will emulsify oil, so her method sounds very good, too.

Sorry, I know this is off topic but curlypearl how often do you wash? I am beginning to get addicted to washing again so just wondering? What's your washing hair schedule? Like do you wash everyday or other and do you always co wash or what? Your hair sounds like mine, so I thought I'd ask.
