My first choice is Loreal Out of Bed cream (there's a super long thread on it in the Reader's product review board)
Also, Curl Junkie makes nice curl creams.

Ohhhh yeah, the LOOB is great stuff!! I definitely second that! And I love both of the CJ cream stylers (the non-protein Guava cream and the Coffeecoco cream), and of course Recoil!

I also like the L'Oreal Out of Bed. It's more of a cream-gel mix, but it has good hold if you use enough. I can actually get away with using it on it's own. I know most of the ladies here use it under a gel, but I think it works very well by itself. HTH

Celtic Curls recently posted that the Umberto Giannini Curl & Twirl conditioner reminds her of pink boots. I've never used it as a leave-in and I'm out now, but she says they are very similar. It's available at Rite-Aid.

I bought my activate stuff at Riteaid-they were $6.99 each for poo co and softwaves gel.

I'm loving them all so far...used them only twice tho! They all smell delish too, if that's a concern.
