Default HETT gel vs. HETT mousse

I have the HETT gel and I kind of like it... but the parabens bother me. I looked up the HETT mousse and it doesn't have parabens, so I was thinking about getting the mousse instead of the gel next time. My only worry is that it will not work as well as the gel and just be another product on my shelf.

Has anyone tried both and liked one more than the other? Do you find they do the same thing?

I have and use both. I like them for different reasons. The gel gives me good hold and it is easy to SOTC, but the mousse is great too. I like the mousse right now because it gives me lighter hold and my waves feel softer. There is hardly any crunch but my waves seem to hold their shape all day long and even my 2nd day hair looks good.
Long story short, I like them both for different reasons.

Thanks for your reply. That's some useful info. I'm thinking I will go out sometime this week and buy the mousse if I can find it in my grocery store.

Did you notice a difference in fragrance in either of the two products? I like the smell of the gel because it's subtle and it fades. Can't stand strong perfumey smells. Is the mousse about the same as the gel or do you notice a lingering smell?

Thanks

They both smell good to me. I don't notice the smell lasting long on the mousse either.

Thanks for your help, New_to_Curlz!
I just went out and bought the mousse. Of course I immediately tried it on dry hair. At first it left my hair super crunchy and I was like... oh great. In the past I haven't had luck scrunching out the crunch, but with the HETT mousse it worked great. So far I liked it a lot. Have yet to try it after a co-wash. yay!

Great! I haven't tried it in dry hair so maybe I'll have to try that.
