Less is more for fine hair?

Would it be possible that products with less ingredients would be better for fine hair? Just wondering because I like CK and it only has a few ingredients (and an ACV rinse cleaned my hair well) so I'm curious if my hair just gets overwhelmed easily with too many ingredients. 9/10 products are too heavy for my hair, so I'm curious to see if it would be better to use products with few ingredients. Or, natural, one-ingredient products such as coconut oil for a DT. I hope my hair is into simple things like me
Medium texture, normal porosity, normal elasticity
Well, I know that heavier products will tend to weight fine hair down. I don't know if it is the number of ingredients or the presence heavier emollients in a product that would lead to hair being weighted down.
