Refreshing, another KCKT thread from me.

So, as I've posted before, my hair hates KCKT...or so I thought. I cannot use it on wet hair, but I have used it on 2nd day hair that needs so resetting and it's perfect. I mix that and some warm water in my palm and smooth it over my canopy and nape area, then scrunch it into the hair. It's perfect. 2nd day hair on me tends to be dry, flyaway, still clumped, but dry. So, why does it work as a refresher but not day one? Is it a porosity deal? Is it too heavy when wet but enough when just slightly damp? What's the deal?

I'm very low porosity and my hair hates it too. So I guess it's not a porosity thing. I've also wondered if it's too heavy, but it seems that most people consider it a quite light product, and my hair likes some heavy things, so I'm not sure that is the issue either.

Great news that it works for your second-day hair. I was thinking of selling mine, but first I'll have to give this a try!
Medium/coarse, low porosity, dense, mix of 3s

Maybe it's TOO light for you? Maybe you need it less watered down than it would be in the shower? And barely watering it and outing it on your dry (thirsty) hair it gets sucked right in?

Idk... But I'm tempted!! Lol!

If I get good 1st day hair and I can get it to survive the night, scrunching in some watered condish often works for me, so maybe try it with another condish to experiment and see if it's the technique more than the product.

And I'll be stalking so I can see how my hair will react before I try this. LOL!!!
