Default Curling iron

I'm just curious as to whether or not you guys use a curling iron to touch up your hair? I feel like it is cheating for some reason...but my hair looks SOOOO much better if I use a curling iron on my bang pieces and maybe a few other random curls...am I the only curly girl who does this? Am I cheating??

Hair that freely borrows from 3a/ 3b texture schools. These are the things I use to care for it:
  • Apple Cider Vinegar rinses weekly
  • shampoos occasionally that do not contain sulfates
  • conditioners without silicones or proteins (or so I think- Keratin seems to do ok)
  • Flour sack towel
And I dont even know what else right now...thinking I may need to drop gels altogether...

Currently have Shea Moisture and DevaCurl products that I may just need to give up on and cut as a loss...

on a day to day basis, I don't. But if I'm going out and I want to look my best, then I'll will. I wouldn't sweat it, it's the straight hair equivalent of using a a flat iron.
