Fluffy! That's got me thinking that I may need a PT. Lately I've gained a lot of fluff (no change in dew the past 3wks here) and curls are looser. Nothing that I currently use seems to have protein other than my weekly low-poo but it's far down the list.

I now have mOnsters Inc on my mind after saying "Fluffy!"

I haven't figured out if I am protein sensitive or if my hair needs it either but some of your comments above make me think I might need a Protein treatment. I use products with and without protein and can't tell the difference. I just ordered Curly hair solutions SIlk protein that someone on one of the threads recommended and I can't wait for it to come in to try it!

Here's my update after doing the Aphogee PT...hair is definitely feeling less "mushy", has more curl and more volume. It's not back to where it was, but from what I gather it could take a while to undo the damage. Now that Spring is upon us and it's more comfortable going out with damp hair, I am swearing off heat! Also swearing off haircuts! Growing it out and hoping some TLC will get my ringlets back.

Thanks for all the advice, ladies! And I actually thought the Aphogee smelled more like sour apple juice than cat urine. A weird odor, but not horrific (at least for me). I will be doing another one in six weeks, and keeping fingers crossed :-)
