Bosanbo, thanks! I tried this today with zero fuss and it worked great! My hair alway looks boring in a pony because it has no height or volume around the front. This was a two second fix. I could do even better if I was trying to do a "dressy" pony!

I do a bun, never a pony, because of the length. I'll try and get a pic.

bosanbo the trick for ponytail you had mentioned would work perfect for me. I have been having this issue where my long hair drags my front scalp and at time even painful to get a good lose pony.

I will definitely try it, if possible post pictures

Ha haaa, awesome!

My hair isn't even long enough for a ponytail right now, but I've become a Ponytail Guru... Now I'm even more eager to get it grown past my shoulders.

This is not the best picture, but atleast it shows that the top scalp is not getting pulled by the ponytail(I have long hair) and its not as flat as it used to be.

usually with regular ponytail, I cant wait to come home and remove my ponytail. But today, I was so comfortable.

+1 I just found this last week and have been practicing it and I love it, only I do only 2 ponytails to make it look like the one...three just didn't work for me.

Thank you for posting the photos - it looks very pretty, and now I see how the top part isn't pulled all tight!
