Hello Curlies,
Happy resurrection day!
I couldn't go to sleep without leaving a post because today markes one full year that I have been following the CG method

(it's also one year since I have been using the DevaCurl line exclusively). One year later I am so pleased that I made the move. I have been natural for most of my life and I have tried every method and product under the sun. I was even following the CG method for a while back in 04 but the product junkie in me (at the time) combined with the lure of other methods and crazes caused me to give up CG.
This time around I think I can honestly say that I am CG for life. My hair hasn't been this healthy in years. For the first time in my life since I was 7 I can rock my
naked hair. I no longer rely on product to make my hair simply
look (and temporarily feel) soft and shiny. I use product to keep my hair hydrated and protected so that it remains soft and shiny on its own.
I know that the CG method doesn't work for everyone. But if anyone is thinking about giving it a try I highly recommend it. I kick myself when I think about what my hair would be like today if i had stuck with the CG method back in 04. But today, numerous setbacks and three major hair cuts later, I finally have the healthy curls I always wanted.
Thanks for reading this for those that did. You ladies rock.
