Default What would be the good ingredient in this conditioner?

I stopped using a certain conditioner for a week, and now my hair seems to be less curly and more frizzy, so I guess the conditioner I forgot to use (I really forgot about it) was a HG for me or at least almost...

What ingredient(s) would be causing the less frizz and more curl? (what would be the good ingredients for me, so I can keep on looking for them) And should I be careful with one of the other ingredients?

Ingredients: Agua, cetearyl alcohol, palm oil, behentrimonium chloride, yellow 6, yellow 5, stearamidopropyl dimethylamine, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, avocado oil, citric acid, shea butter, hexyl cinnamal, glycerin, parfum

And is this more an emollient or a protein conditioner? (I can't seem to figure that out)

As other products I only use Yes to Cucumbers and a mousse.
My routine: get hair wet, put on YtC (before last week: then put on this conditioner, then finish with YtC but I didn't do these 2 steps this week with more frizz and less curl as a result), rinse out and leave hair soaking wet, apply mousse, plop 30 minutes, air dry 30 minutes, diffuse 10 minutes, air dry until dry, SOTC.

I am: medium-high density, fine-medium width, don't know the porosity

I'm no expert but my hair positively ADORES avocado oil. It makes it silky and curly. I deep treat with it often. It's like olive only lighter, penetrates better and ya don't smell like a salad.

That conditioner is protein free and has a few emollients that stick out to me. Palm Oil, Cetearyl Alcohol, Avocado Oil, and Shea Butter are all emollient, moisturizing ingredients. All of them were in the old formula Garnier Triple Nutrition conditioner that was an absolute HG for many here.

The major ingredients in any product appear in the beginning of the ingredients list, with ingredients in there in smaller amounts appearing in the middle and towards the end. I've read that the top 5 ingredients make up the majority of the product (some don't count water in that top 5). Given that, I'd guess your hair loves palm oil and cetearyl alcohol.

In fact Geek_chic, this is a Garnier conditioner...
It's Ultra Doux Avocado oil & Karité butter

I'm still going to try the Ultra Doux with cacao butter and coconut oil, and the one with mango and tiaréflowers
