Calling all curlies in super humid locations...lets share high dew tips!

Artemis, I just saw that link. Outstanding article! Thank you very much for posting that.
2/c and some 3A.
Protein sensitive but can use occasionally
Highly porous. Color over grey.
Best 1st day method: Super Soaker
Stylers: Mix Curls in a Bottle into everything for shine. Terrible pj
Sometimes try roller sets - classic glamor but I prefer my curls.
Every day is a gift
Do you think you guys could recommend a good conditioner for the high dew points?

I wanna say the Tressemme Naturals like Vibrantly Smooth do not have humectants. I don't think Giovanni SaS does. Maybe Cure Care. The latter two have protein, the first does not.

I still use glycerin, I have incorporated a gel and conditioner that have water soluble silicones.

Mop Top Anti Frizz Soft Hold gel (they have a medium hold too)

So far after experimenting almost always in high dews, I find that basically gels or jellies are the way to go. I love FSG, especially with CNPF in it.

Leave-ins are super hit or miss. Sometimes they work beautifully, then I'll try it again and I'm OC-ed. Sometimes I've liked using a conditioning PT like CJ Repair Me as a leave-in... but then again if I repeat it may get builduppy.

I've had some great results with IAgirl's Flax Seed Curl Cream using FSG, Volumax Mega and a small squirt of CJ Repair Me, but then it didn't work the second time. I think it's because of the CJ RM.

I've had fairly consistent good results with mixing Volumax Mega with FSG. It softens the Volumax and makes it easier to apply, but has a bit more hold than the plain FSG.

There are still A LOT of hits or misses with the same products/routines.

Not touching hair is really helpful but hard to do (at least for me).

CJ PP
Ouidad Climate Control
Volumax Mega (from Sally's)

have all worked for me in high dews. They behave very differently however.
