Or tried it and would like to share their thoughts?

My hair looks pretty not thrilling. The clumps are fine and the curls are spirally (but a bit longer than with some other curl enhancers), but the frizz. I am not prone to frizz. Even after diffusing nearly totally dry a couple times a week, I have minimal frizz. With just pattern pusha alone, frizz is an issue. I mean, webbing frizz like I haven't seen since I began this journey with natural hair in 2009.

I'm gonna wait and let it settle and see what I can put on top that might work. But for me, alone, on wet hair--not so much.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try it with leave-in and with some gel or sealant.

Here's the thing--I've slept on this hair twice since the night I first tried it (day before yesterday) and the clumps remain nice and my hair is very soft. I like that--soft and touchable. No flakes. No crunch. It's only the frizz that's an issue. Dews have been in mid-70s, so it's pretty darn humid.

The ringlets are gorgeous, I must say.

I will work with it, cause I do find applying as refresher, which I did yesterday before a doc appt, is nice. Scrunches in very easily to revive clumps/strays.

So, I'll work with it. The no glycerin is nice for me, as my hair doesn't tend to play well with high glycerin products.

I suspect that even if it doesn't work out 100% with other steps, this will be one of my ideal refreshers, better than CJ Smoothing Lotion...it's lighter and my hair hates being weighed down.

Does anyone with fine and/or low-porosity hair have good luck with it?

I like PP in any dews, being glycerine free helps it work in both for me. I find PP gives me good definition and clumps, along with serious shine but, on it's own it doesn't have enough hold for my 2b waves.
I use it as a 'base layer' or an enhancer, with another harder hold product on top. (I can't currently recommend a hard hold, as I'm still searching for one without the dreaded polyquat 4 ) But, I will say that PP has 'played nice' with any product I have put over or under it.

Wavy7s if you're looking for a hard hold gel without polyquats try Volumax Mega from Sally's!

I have to say I just bought Pattern Pusha. I only tried it on dry and naked hair and I loved it. But it is true the next day (3rd day hair?) I had a little bit of flaking. I have to experiment more. But I loved the feel of it. Reminded me of and performed a lot like FSG out of anything I've tried (and I love FSG). The hair had a no-product feel to it. Didn't weigh me down. If the flaking thing isn't an issue this will fast become my favorite gel!

Seconding VERY hard hold with Volumax from Sally's. I bought some and used it this morning for the first time on wet hair. I was way too heavy handed and my hair was crunch city. I'm going to need to figure out how to use it properly!

The parts where I was able to SOTC are curly and soft, but I'm losing some curls and getting some frizz where I had to try harder to SOTC.
I apply to soaking wet hair. I also water it down a bit in my hand before applying. Good distribution is key with the Volumax ... it takes a few tries for sure to get it right.

I'm thinking of cutting it with some SM Curl Smoothie just to see what happens.

*fingers crossed*

UPDATE: I added just a tiny bit of SMCS to Volumax and some water and my curls look & feel pretty great today!

Styler: SCE Flax Seed Gel and Hard Hold Gel
