Product, technique, and humidity questions
Hi everyone. I have been looking through all of the forums and trying to find answers, but I am still at a loss.
I live in FL and the humidity is high and the temps are getting warm quickly. I have been using KCCC and HETT mousse but it doesn't seem to be cutting it anymore.
My hair is fine and a little longer than BSL. I am looking for waves/curls that can hold up in humidity. I can't use oil in my hair because it just sits on my hair and looks wet all day. I am thinking about going back to gel but I dont know what to try.
I am also wondering about techniques for wavies. I read about the rake and shake and I like the way it seems to evenly cover the hair in product, but I worry it would pull the curl I have out. I have tried rinsing upside down, but it makes my fine hair tangle. I currently wash with SM or GTTT and condition with the same. I use a little as leave in and then put my KCCC in while it is dripping wet. I plop for about 20 min and then diffuse for a few minutes.
Please help! Thank you!
