Default raw shea butter

I searched and there wasnt much threads about it so Ill ask.

How do you use raw shea butter. I'm talking about the yellow small tub of it that you can get at beauty stores. Do you use it as a leave in? or a sealer? It kinda smells odd too lol

People do use it as a leave in, I've heard. Or just as an extra layer of moisture. I don't bother because I use a lot of Shea Moisture products and figure I'm getting my fill that way. But it is amazing for your skin. I may throw some in a deep treatment and see what happens.

Oh and Now makes a little tub that is pretty odorless:

Now Foods, Shea Butter, 7 fl oz (207 ml) - iHerb.com

But I know the earthy buttery smell you're talking about. I kind of like it.

Let us know if it works for you. Maybe I'll try shea butter as a leave in one day. Hmmm.

I've used it to smooth my hairline and it works very well...it's much thicker than any Shea Moisture product so you don't need much. I've also mixed it with coconut oil, vegetable glycerin, jojoba oil, little of castor oil and vitamin e oil and made a nice souffle.

No, you can use it alone. Just rub it between your hands to soften it a bit.
