Anybody know about Aphogee? Please help

Okay so I bought the aphogee treatment to do on my hair, but I've been seeing that you're not supposed to do it unless you have severely damaged hair. Well, my hair isn't severely damaged but I do have quite a bit of it. Has anyone ever done one?

If so, do you think it's okay if I dilute it with a little water?

I'd like to do this, but I really am scared cause I don't want my hair to break, because I've already been having some issues with that.

Could I maybe just focus more in the bottom half of my hair?

I'm kinda wanting to do this tomorrow evening, so help would be appreciated greatly as soon as possible.

I did the Aphogee treatment once after repeatedly dying and then stripping the color out. One thing to note is that Aphogee smells horrible. Truly God awful terrible. I almost washed it off immediately, but my hair was in a sorry shape and I'd heard it worked wonders. Even after washing it out, my hair smelled like something died in it for days! Ugh. Also, you're supposed to let it dry before washing it out and they're really not kidding that it dries hard. Really rock hard. Be very gentle because I hear you can snap your hair off once it's dry. I don't have any suggestions about diluting it, since the point is to have it dry completely before rinsing it out again. If your hair isn't that damaged, maybe you can do a protein treatment like K-pak or something instead?

Aphogee is definitely meant for severely damaged hair. I would agree that K-Pak or another protein DT would be a better choice.

I have done 2 so far and after the first one I could see very dramatic improvement in my hair. I had breakage and it almost stopped breaking. I waited 6 weeks and did my second one and I didnt see as dramatic results in fact my hair was a little dry afterwards. The next wash after that though my hair was great I just did a moisturizing CO and another deep moisture treatment. You have to do a deep moisture treatment after the Aphogee. I was really scared about it getting so hard and breaking but after doing the treatment I realized you would have to be really rough with your hair to get it to break with it on. I also put on a button up shirt so I didnt have to pull one over my head

Everytime I tried to reply it was so slow and it went to the pages cant be displayed page. I would go back and submit my reply and it would do the same thing again. I have been having a problem with this site being slow is it just me

Thanks for the link and for all the posts ladies. I really appreciate it. I have felt my hair when it's been wet and it definitely isn't stretchy or mushy. I think it's a moisturizing problem, however, I still will get the 2 minute keratin reconstructor by Aphogee and return the damage treatment. I also got the Keratin Green Tea Spray by Aphogee. My hair is damaged but not severely, and I think it's more just ends. I think doing the 2 minute treatment maybe every 2 weeks and leaving it on for a bout 10 minutes, using the spray every time I wash and every other night when i wrap my hair up, along with weekly deep CO's with no protein might be what I need to get my hair back on track. I think you're on the right track. You know about using a moisturizing conditioner after a protein treatment, right?

Yep, I am very aware of that. I'm gonna use Nature's Gate Hemp Nourishing moisturizer with some added sweet almond oil and coconut oil. DT for about 45 minutes with a thermal conditioning cap.
